The love behind the Crown
Welcome to Southern Crown Ragdolls! We are the family behind the crown— Tracy, a Stay-at-home mom and owner of our beloved Southern Crown Ragdolls, my husband Nathaniel, who works on a major naval base, Pax River, and our three little ones, Noah, River, and Saylor. Our home is filled with love, laughter, little footsteps, and, of course, a growing love for Ragdolls.
My love for animals began when I was just about the age my own children are today, thanks to my grandmother, who taught me from an early age how special the bond between people and animals can be. She had a home full of all kinds of animals, including cats, Chihuahuas—she was also a Chihuahua breeder—chickens, geese, birds, hamsters, gerbils, and so many more. Those childhood experiences stayed with me and sparked a lifelong passion for animals that I now have the joy of sharing with my own children.
As a family, we believe that caring for animals begins with gentle hands, patience, kindness, and respect. We teach our children to interact with our animals lovingly and calmly, and our Ragdolls are raised right alongside our family and little ones. When we had the opportunity to welcome Queenie, our beautiful Ragdoll and future mama, into our family, we quickly fell completely in love with the breed. Ragdolls have such an incredible reputation for being affectionate, gentle, patient, and wonderful with children—and Queenie showed us exactly why. Her loving personality captured our hearts, and we knew we had found a breed that could become not only part of our breeding journey but companions our family could cherish for years to come.
Our goal at Southern Crown Ragdolls is to raise beautiful, healthy, well-socialized Ragdolls with the loving temperaments that make this breed so special. Most importantly, we want every kitten we raise to experience the same love, attention, and gentle care that we give to our own family—so that when they leave our home, they aren't simply going to a new family, they're becoming part of one. 👑🤍
